The Ultralite UL11 16x8 ET25 4x100 Matte Black Alloy Wheel is suitable for Mk1 Mazda MX-5 with slightly rolled arches, and for Mk2 Mazda MX-5 with stock arches, and for Mk4 Mazda MX-5 with flat rolled arches. Mk1 MX-5s require a gentle lip roll which gives a little more breathing room, enough for modest width or lower offsets without altering the car’s silhouette. Aggressive rubber—especially wide semi-slicks—can still push the limits, but skinny tyres, a mild drop and a bit of negative camber usually make everything play nicely. Mk2 MX-5s require no extra metalwork—these wheels clear factory bodywork for a true “bolt-on” fit. Keep in mind that wider tyre profiles or grippy semi-slicks can sit closer to the lip and may rub on hard bumps, so additional fettling (camber, ride-height tweaks, or a slimmer tyre) could still be needed. Mk4 MX-5s require the inner lip flattening which opens up noticeably more space, letting you run wider wheels and lower offsets while keeping the outer arch line stock. Wider, track-focused tyres may still rub on big bumps, so be ready to fine-tune camber, ride height or tyre size to finish the job.
